What is formless energy ?

Suppose I put the same question to a Computer, how long will the Computer “think” before it can answer?

2] How can you “convince” a Computer that parallel lines never meet ?

3] Will a Computer “recognize” that the above two questions mean infinite iteration in terms of normal computation?

If the answer to the first question is “Infinite” and “negative” to the rest, what  do we really mean by AI ?

I am Jagadeesh.

I have more than a passing interest in Physics, especially Theoretical Physics, particularly conceptual problems of Gravitation. That implies I am interested in Geometry of Physics too. I may write about them frequently in this Blog.

Most serious students of Physics in the later part of their lives may without being aware become philosophers ! but those who become philosophical in the beginning or in the middle, live in that inexplicable agony of reconciling the outer and the inner meanings of their research.They know that the inner and the outer are two aspects of the same thing [see ! I am already getting  philosophical !!] But they do not know how to explain it ! because one of the aspects is rational and the other non-rational !

Alright. I am in such an agony.  I am doing Physics and I am philosophical too ! Whether I am in  the beginning or in the middle I leave it to your guess ! So I shall talk philosophy too in this blog. But certainly not the one that involves hair splitting arguments about meaning of words etc., It would be more in the line of  “observer-observed-perception”  problem, employing the full machinery of Scientific Analysis.

The preceding paragraph implies Scientific Method; much about this later in a separate article.

On the practical side of interaction with the outer world, I am a ruthless campaigner for encouraging “Pure Science Studies”. I have come to see pure sciences being ignored more and more in favor of other lucrative disciplines that go in the name of technical education and professional courses. That is nothing wrong, for one has to eat, cloth and live. But that is not an end in itself . That addresses only the outer, but it is only pure science that addresses the inner. There has got to be a balance between the two. If you ask why the inner should be addressed by pure sciences only and not by arts etc., well the world in general quickly appreciates art forms and in turn brings money too. Pure Sciences do not. Ask a theoretical physicist or a mathematician how miserable he feels when somebody asks him what is he doing ! Nobody pays for what he feels he does not need or understands. What are the possible resolutions to this state of affairs ? I shall discuss that too in this blog.

The next thing I like is idling ! I am going to tell the whole world the virtues and joys of idling without end and to the acute annoyance and jealousy of those who do not know what to do with themselves.

And the next one I like most is a long walk with friends, preferably with only one talking about everything under sun with great animation and emotion. This is also idling of another sort. The first sort of idling I call ‘Static Idling’ and next ‘Dynamic Idling’. Idlers both Static as well as Dynamic are welcome to share their boundless joy in this blog.

Apart from these I may write about ancient history of the world and at times metaphysical ramblings too.

Okay, thats a bit more of a mouthfull and I shall percolate much more gradually as we go long !
